How are Drroo fares calculated?
Your fare is worked out before you book, from the distance, the estimated trip time and the ride you choose — Moto starts at ₹25, Auto at ₹30 and Mini at ₹79. What you see is what you pay: no meter, no haggling. Tolls, parking or airport entry fees, if any, are listed separately in the fare breakdown.
Does Drroo have surge pricing?
Only when it’s pouring or the whole city is heading home at once — and even then it’s capped. Fares never go above 1.5× the usual price, and any increase is shown clearly before you confirm, so you can book now or wait it out. No hidden surges, ever.
How can I pay?
However you like: UPI, debit or credit cards, Drroo Wallet, or cash to your captain. You can switch methods any time before the trip ends. Refunds go back to the original source in 5–7 business days, or land in your Drroo Wallet instantly.
Is my ride insured?
Yes. Every trip includes accident insurance of up to ₹5 lakh for riders and captains, through our partner insurer, at no extra cost. Cover runs from pickup to drop. If anything goes wrong, tap SOS in the app to reach our 24×7 safety desk — we’ll help you with the claim, start to finish.
What can I send with Drroo Send?

How do I become a Drroo captain?
Download the Drroo Captain app, complete Aadhaar e-KYC and upload your driving licence and RC. Once police verification clears — usually in 24–48 hours — you’re ready to ride. There’s zero commission: just a flat daily pass of ₹29 (Moto), ₹39 (Auto) or ₹99 (Cab), with payouts every day.
I left something in the vehicle — what now?
It happens! Open Your trips, pick the ride and tap Help → I lost an item to call your captain on a masked number. Can’t get through? Write to support@drroo.in with your trip ID and we’ll arrange the return — most items are back with their owners within a day.
